I updated the file because while I was having a conversation today I realized that I forgot to add something to the book when I made my "final" update to the game: a shoutout to my good friend Ben Monroe.
Ben was the friend that I mention a couple of times in the book as the person who said that we needed more games about punching Nazis, because we had forgotten that they were supposed to be the bad guys. A little known fact is that a famous pulp archeologist character who has appeared in a few games and pieces of fiction was based upon the character that Ben played in a horror campaign a long time ago. That character was given a food-related pun for a name that only a kid could come up with. Which you have to love. On page 87 there is now a pulp archeologist for your Adventures In The Unknown games who is an homage to that character, and a shoutout to Ben in thanks for having inspired this game. For obvious reasons of copyright and trademark fun, I won't be mentioning the name of that character, or the game it is from but if you know, you know.
I can't believe that I forgot to put this character into the book, because I posted it to my Patreon a while ago. So, thank you Ben, not only for the push that caused this game to be made, but for the things you've done for tabletop RPGs over the year!
