Playtest Feedback and Build Update
Hello there,
Just wanted to extend a heartfelt thanks to everyone who has playtested the game and provided feedback. It's been very helpful! Here are the release notes for the latest update - bringing it to version 0.9.8.
- Fixed some blurry shadows;
- Updated early game over to have a way to load the most recent save by talking with Tsuru;
- Added hints about dealing with dark spirits;
- Fixed demo screenshot graphics showing up in full game in the end Newspaper scene;
- Updated interactions;
- Updated default frame rate to be 60;
- Updated dialogue to include hint about pressing I key for insight;
- Fixed performance issue with frame rate not locking;
- Reduced shininess of objects when spirits are talking;
- Fixed typos;
- Fixed spirit selection scene;
- Fixed terrain appearance;
- Fixed shiny horse and bike;
- Added more objects and geometry;
- Fixed castle door options;
- Fixed nameplate text;
- Updated some interaction options;
- Fixed texture alphas not working;
- Reduced scene change time a little;
- Added vignette to intro cameras;
- Fixed save filename issues in editor;
- Minor tweaks for performance;
To expand upon a few things - one of the characters in the game, Kitsune, will better explain how to use the Insight ability. They'll also help explain how to deal with dark spirits.
