Afternoon, Slide Monarchs — your first mission, if you choose to accept it...

In order to glue together all the parts of the game together and begin delivering the story, a mission system has been implemented! There is a lot of placeholder content at the moment while we focus on implementing the broad strokes, so no interesting cutscenes or story yet. But the top level is:

You arrive in Drift City at the airport, your old friend from high-school — Crystal — has been kind enough to loan you her car. Unfortunately, your red-eye flight has arrived far too early in the morning for her tastes, so she has sent her friend Initial E to pick you up...

Drift King - Changelog:

• Mission system, with an introductory mission to help get you acquainted with the game and buy you your first car
• Airport bridge AI pathing fixed
• Airport layout tweaked for better jumps
• More AI tuning, RWD cars should now match AWD cars in lap times
• New page in pause menu for clip saving and for making longer replays

Saves are invalidated (you'll automatically start a new game) in this version to prevent issues with the new mission system, sorry!
