Hey everyone,
Anotherr week, another push. Version 0.3 is no longer a draft, it’s now becoming real. Line, after line.
This week was focused almost entirely on writing and implementation.
It’s a moment of calm in the story, and intentional. I wanted to let things breathe before diving into the first glimpses of the outside world. I wanted to make the city more alive, and use it to define the world the game takes places in.
I’m working carefully on pacing: soft scenes, short dialogue breaks, and subtle tonal shifts.
On the side, I’ve also started laying the groundwork for future NSFW content. That’s planned for version 0.4.
Not yet, but soon.
As mentioned, I’ve started developing new background sets to give Devoh more depth and personality. But this part is tough as Chaos.
Working Blender takes time. A lot more than I expected. And I’m not even dealing with lighting and composition yet.
I’m working with an RTX 2060, and still running into viewport lags, weird bugs, and re-re-re-rendering scenes that eat up close to an hour per scene. It’s slow. Frustratingly slow.
I’m also struggling with character imports—so for now, Koikatsu might still be my fallback. It’s not ideal, but it’s fast and consistent.
That said, results are starting to come together. Bit by bit. I’m confident it’ll look the way I want in the end.
