The game has released.

I finally did it. After six years of development, my first commercial game has released. This has been one long journey with multiple lost prototypes. From its first steps as UNDERrune in 2019, to originalizing into ChronoDial in 2022, and then one last update to PowerDial in 2023, this has been one transformative journey. This is also my biggest entry to my pre-bachelor's portfolio (https://djcraneajr.github.io/djcranejrportafolio). Thanks to everyone's little words of encouragement in the internet. I can't really mention all of you (because I'm too lazy to look through my entire Discord DMs), but you helped at some extent. I am now decent at GML as I've been making both the demo and the full game in GameMaker. I lost access to the school computer at the end of development but that didn't stop me as I moved development to my Steam Deck and continued there. Yes, it's a vibe programming, testing and designing a game all in one device (ala Commodore 64). Anyways, to end this off, this game released on the day of my high school graduation. I had a little complication on release hour so I had to release it three hours late. Thank you, everyone, for your support. This also teached me that if I really want to make something good, I can't do it alone. Adding my album's songs into the game was a last resort option as I couldn't secure the rights to others on Newgrounds. I have other things in the works, so I'm not leaving Itch.io completely. I'm only stepping away from this game and starting work on something else.
