#changelog
Dear players,
Thank you for the great feedback you gave on Corpus et Spiritus! We’ve been reading, taking notes, and prioritizing our upcoming work to improve what is most critical for the game and for you. And today we bring you the first of many updates to come for this game!
The major changes we made are that we added a progression system and challenges.
The progression system means that when you’ll start a new game, you won’t have access to the entire workshop anymore, but only 2 of its components. Then, as you reach knowledge thresholds, you’ll unlock new components that will give you more choices. Once a component is unlocked, you keep it forever — that is, until we reset everyone’s saves. Expect that to happen once in a while!
The challenges are ways to increase the difficulty of the game. You first game has the basic difficulty, and every time you win a game with a given challenge, you unlock the next one. Note that the first 3 challenges unlock new workshop components, and the last 2 are there just for the sense of increased difficulty.
We also made some quality of life improvements, like a better UX, illustrations for the talismans, and so on. Full changelog below!
We hope you will enjoy those changes. As usual, we need all the feedback you can give us about your experience with Corpus et Spiritus. Please do let us know what you think about the game by filling the survey at the end of each game, by using the feedback form (press F8 anywhere in the game) or by joining our Discord server.
Now, on to the full changelog…
