Let's outline some progress of mine with multiplayer instead of radio silence.

So far, I've reached a point where the game is basically playable in multiplayer - Players can send Squads, use Abilities, surrender, etc., with everything being properly synchronized (including AI Players). However, there is one major Caveat - currently, only two players, in preset locations, as preset factions, on a preset map can play.

My aim, of course, is to allow players to play on whatever maps they like (whether or not I will implement sharing of custom maps, or just expecting players to share the files with each other, I'm not sure yet, but I would want to do that automatically and securely), as whatever factions they like, and on whatever scenarios they may like.

I don't know how long this'll take, but considering how easy it was to implement multiplayer gameplay, this might be quicker than expected.
