Greetings, dungeoneers, and welcome back to another Fur Quests update on Itch!
This week, we’ve revised the tavern in Cliffshade. In addition to the usual tavern activities, you can now earn passive income from the tavern that stacks over time. You can still choose to work there, and doing so will gradually increase your passive earnings. However, working at the tavern is now more draining to encourage players to branch out and explore other activities.
Next, I’ll be adding the mine as a sort of mini-game, giving you the opportunity to earn valuable loot and gather ore, which Dunri can use to forge some quality armor.
Until now, Septim has started with a generous amount of silver and gear to keep the grind from feeling tedious during playtesting. But moving forward, I’ll be scaling that back to encourage players to engage more with these new activities and to make rewards feel more earned—and perhaps make you think twice before turning down a handsome offer.
Don’t worry though—if you’re not a fan of the grind, I plan to add a difficulty option that lets you start with a higher level and more resources for a smoother experience.
