Update on the States of Things

Writing posts about the status of the project is just another procrastination, but maybe there are readers out there (= you) who are waiting for the Companion to happen. If this is the case, please leave a comment. This would mean a lot to me. Thanks.

Now, what is already "finished" (= I haven't yet decided to revise it again) and what is planned

• Introduction: done
• Runs: 5 are ready, called "The Hellstone Eater", "Mothers Little Doom", "Hot as Hell", "Railrider's Escape", and "One-way Ticket to Hell"
  I also added some generic material useful for your "typical" Run, like a double page of Harm and another of Complications.
• Artifacts: 10 are ready, called "The Hand of Glory", "The Burning Trident Harpoon of the Storm Caller", "The Ace of the Burning Heart", "Hellstone Dynamite", "The Doppelgänger's Glas", "The Executor", "The Undying Blossom", "The Scavengers Lantern", "The Scarecrow's Hood", and "The Dead One's Tattoo". 5 pieces of art are still missing but that's the better/fun part.
  Maybe I'm a bit too fond of Artifacts, so maybe there's more to come here.
• Monsters: 7 are ready, called "The Pain Collector", "Hellstone Hounds", "Chained Skulls", "The Shadow Horse", "Giant Sandworms", "The Whisper from Below the Mountain", and "The Shadow Slinger". I'm pretty sure that one or two are still somewhere in my head.
• Places: not yet done any of them
• Rules: 
  • One Shot Mechanic described but not tested (changing XP to tokens for Special Abilities)
  • The Silver Bullet, same (a major change once per Run)
  • The Fifth Rider (an alternative Ending)
  • Flashpoint Runs (Engagement roll substitute & alternate format for Runs played backwards)
    Written and I have x examples written but not tested, yet. There are called "A Snare for the Vultures", "Hellbeast Rodeo", "Something Borrowed, Something Burned". Some more ideas for that format, like "In the Belly of the Beast" and (again) "The Fifth Rider".
• Playbooks:
  • Editing "The Wanderer" which is "a nomad & drifter, in-between"
  • Dreaming about "The Emberborn" an entity/being of the Burning Beyond
