Hey again, detectives!
We just wrapped up a test play of the current Hamsterdam build, and—like any good investigation—I’ve uncovered a handful of bugs hiding in plain sight. Some minor, some game-breaking, but some oddball behavior and polish issues that I’m tackling as we speak.
Player Freeze – Players when loading in sometime cannot move.
Colliders not detecting on some objects – you can walk through random objects.
Walk on water: You can literally walk on water lol...
I’m fixing these bugs and pushing out a patch soon. I’m also working on improving level pacing and adding some more visual feedback when you collect clues.
If you’ve run into any other issues I haven’t caught yet, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or message me directly! Your feedback is shaping this game more than you know, and I truly appreciate every bit of it.
Even if you didn’t find a bug, I’d love to hear:
What made you smile?
What didn’t quite work for you?
Who’s your favorite character so far?
Any feedback is awesome—thank you to everyone who has played, commented, or shared Hamsterdamm. The city’s just getting started, and there’s so much more coming your way.
