Hey everyone — this is it.

The final update to Dark is here. A patch long overdue, but one that finally closes the chapter on this game with the polish and care it always deserved.

What’s New?

• Critical Bug Fixed
  A major game-breaking bug that made it impossible to reach the end of the game has now been squashed. You can finally experience the full story as intended.
• 4 Levels Restored
  Due to the previous bug, 4 entire levels were unplayable. Those levels are now fully restored and playable again.
• Level Creator Deprecated (But Still Usable)
  The level creator has officially been marked as deprecated. It won’t receive future updates and is no longer the focus of the game, but it’s still in the build and fully functional for anyone who wants to tinker.
• New Cover Art
  The original placeholder cover has been retired. In its place is a brand new, sleek design that better reflects the tone and future of the Dark series.

A Word from the Dev (that’s me)

Dark was my first-ever game, made when I was 13. It was messy, unorganized, and chaotic — but it was also full of heart. Now, a year and 3 months later, I’ve grown. And with this update, the game has too.

This patch doesn’t just fix things. It’s a goodbye letter to the original Dark — and a quiet hello to what’s coming next.

What’s Next?

I’m now working on Dark 2, a longer, deeper, and more refined sequel. But Dark 1 will always be special — it’s the one that started it all.

Thank you to everyone who played, messaged me about bugs, and stuck around. This is the final update. No more patches. Just memories, pixels, and a complete game.
