Chapter 1 Released!

Hello! 

Chapter 1 of The Last Divine has been released! The Last Divine is a text-based fantasy romance set in the medieval-inspired realm of Jeilene. It is a character-driven interactive fiction novel that loosely borrows from elements of Greek Mythology.  As I work on the second chapter, I want to provide anyone who enjoyed the game with an idea of what updates to expect  in the coming months, as well as a rough timeline for when to expect them.

Chapter 2 will feature the following updates: 

• A relationships page that details the relationship status between MC and all potential love interests (specifically, how they feel about MC) 

• Updates to Chapter 1 that allow players to customize MCs height, hair color, hair length, eye color, and skin color (and an associated character traits page)

• Branching dialogue depending on MCs personality  

• A relationship points system that will unlock romantic scenes between MC and their chosen love interest in the chapters to come! 

• Choices that lead to character death (so don’t forget to save 😊 ) 

• An abilities page detailing MCs new emerging abilities, which will be directly related to choices player makes throughout the game  

This is my first interactive fiction novel, so please feel free to offer me any advice or feedback regarding what sort of changes/content you would like to see in future updates.  I work and currently have several other projects in flux, so while devlog updates will be made on a monthly basis (potentially more on months when chapters will be released), updates will be dependent on how much time I have to work on the project.  Progress will likely be slow but steady, with updates being made on a monthly basis and new chapter releases taking place once every few months. Rest assured, if several months pass without a new chapter being released, I am still working on the project!  Some months may simply allow for more progress than others.
