This small patch includes a few important bug fixes and some adjustments to core gameplay systems based on early feedback. Thank you to everyone who's played the Mythscroll demo so far!
Resting Outside Cities Reworked
Previously, resting outside of cities relied entirely on your Luck stat, and many characters had a 0% chance of success. This has been changed:
Resting now checks both Stealth and Luck
The success threshold has been lowered
Even if you fail both checks, there’s now a small chance to still rest successfully
This change should make resting more accessible for a wider range of builds without removing the risk entirely.
Fixed an issue where buttons would overlap when switching the text panel from "mini mode" to "wide mode" while in a city
Fixed a bug where the "City Options" and "Travel Options" buttons behaved incorrectly when switching the text panel from "mini mode" to "wide mode"
A bug has been reported where the Health and/or Morality bars appear empty or disconnected, even after the player gains health or morality. Apparently the bug was encountered after the character died several times.
So far, this bug has not been reproducible by me or other playtesters.
