Major Update Released - v0.70

Hello War Gamers, 

I am absolutely delighted to announce Brassbound: Adamantine Dawn version 0.70. This isn't just a rulebook update, it is a major overhaul to the entire experience. 

Starter Kits

Brassbound: Adamantine Dawn is free and always will be. You are welcome (even encouraged) to use the models and parts you already own to play this game. We love seeing what you come up with!

But we've also heard that going through the process to order your own parts can be arduous, even with the instructions and parts list provided. With that in mind, we now have Starter Kits available for delivery to the continental US. They contain all the core units you need to start the game, and you'll find the prices to be very competitive at $19.99 plus shipping.  Each Starter Kit contains:

• 1 Pact Brassbounder
• 1 Pact Tank
• 2 Pact Rifle Squads
• 1 Coalition Brassbounder
• 1 Coalition Tank
• 2 Coalition Rifle Squads
• A printed color copy of the Quick Play Rules

All new rulebook

Lastly, the change I think you've all been looking forward to, the rulebook. The changes are really too numerous to call out individually, so here are some of the bigger ones:

• Quick Play Rules - the game now includes an abbreviated one-page ruleset to get you started with BAD in just a few minutes!
• Streamlined Army Building - all units now either cost 5 points or 10. That's it. 
• Guidance added on creating your own custom units and models.
• Large visual overhaul to the rulebook. We've added period-appropriate fonts, more examples, and more clear graphics. 
• Removal of spotting, for now, but it'll come back better than ever. Instead of being a mechanism purely used to gain Adv(1) on an attack, it will now be used to force your opponent to make tough decisions...

[Update 5/31/25] - the model instructions had an error on page 34 where the instructions for the Pact Utility Truck were overlaid on the instructions on the Pact SPG.  This has been corrected in version 0.71, which will be released in a few days. 
Furthermore, both the instructions and parts lists omitted the Pact MG team. The instructions will be updated with version 0.71 of the rulebook, while the parts list has already been updated. My apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
