Hello all,
I've added some much-needed updates to the demo, which should make the experience more immersive. This is a minor update but one I felt was necessary despite not having much new content in it.
- Added swimming and proper falling animations
- Reworked terrain to use more variety in cliff textures
- Disabled Mind Control use on the Caretaker
Rest assured I am working on a huge amount of other stuff at the moment on this project and am putting in several hours a day working on it. The past few days I've spent some time learning terrain techniques, doing a bit of character animation, and a lot of systems work.
A few things next on the to-do list:
- Two-handed swords, with unique animation set and weapon ability
- An enemy type that periodically steals your main hand weapon
- More spells and abilities
- Character customization; sadly I don't think this will be part of the player experience, but more a development tool to create lots of character variety without a lengthy workflow
