I'm excited to share the story behind the creation of Unseen, a short first-person psychological horror game I released recently. This project began as an exploration of fear not through jumpscares, but through atmosphere, presence, and isolation.
The idea was simple: What if you're not alone, but can't prove it?
I wanted players to feel constantly observed, even if nothing physically "attacks" them in the conventional sense.
The game plays with visibility — sometimes you’re safer when you can’t see. Sometimes you’re not. That contradiction drives the tension in Unseen.
This was an experiment — but I’m already thinking about a spiritual successor or an expanded version. I'd love to push these ideas further, maybe with more player agency and longer form gameplay.
Thanks for checking out the game, and thank you for supporting indie horror!
