Lordling of Hearts

Greetings everyone! It has been some weeks, so I think it is time for a progress update.

Various small patches have been released, addressing numerous bugs: 

  • Lordling of Hearts: public -> v0.6.2
  • Lordling of Hearts: fluffy moth/patreon -> v0.7.1
  • Rogschard: public -> v1.1.1    
  • Rogschard: patreon -> v1.1.1


Alright, let's get onto talking about v0.8.0. I introduced the first of the new systems, the unidentified potion system. Stuff you pick up off the floor will be unidentified until you use a scroll on it, or chug it once without knowing what it does. That will be sure to cause some shenanigans~

For the boring bits, I have upgraded to the latest version of the Godot engine, which will hopefully resolve problems on some mobile devices regarding shader compilation. I have also migrated my old exporting setup to my newer machine, as that old PC was starting to struggle with the size of the editor project on the newer engine versions. This should allow me to export new patches with greater ease. I have also fixed a problem with the translation loader relating to "res://" path accessibility after export. It should be fixed on all versions now.

As for content, I had made some writing for fun during the last update, so I am finishing that up, and putting it in first. This will introduce another shopkeeper to Darkhill, namely Felicia the Werecat. Don't mind the strange mushrooms growing from her head, they are probably harmless. There is something with a breeding mount as well, but I won't spoil too much about that yet. You will have to see.

Now, back to working on some content for some old favorites for me~
