Things are getting close to testing again after so much animation. The hope is to finish up active development of this stage within the next week, with up to 2 weeks of testing and fixes before a general release. Usually the public release would be one behind, but as there's some pretty major issues in the current version we're going to update both free and paid versions pretty close together, with maybe a few days lea time on the paid version.
Here's a rundown of whats been happening:
Animations
This is all preliminary completions. As they get implemented into gameplay it may be required to update, change or add animations to make it run smoothly, so until that happens we're done with them.
Characters

Plant Trap
We've taken a new approach for how the plant operates as the above-ground tentacles were very touchy about attachment points, so there's been a major redesign which hopefully is more in line with the planned Forest Boss.
The glowy green texture was removed. It's getting rebuilt in Unreal to be nicer.
Finally
We are getting close to releasing test builds, but there's still a decent list to complete.

FINALLY
After the previous release, we're concentrating more on testing. As a result, we'll be doing an iterative process using a group of testers so we don't have a fixed date for the full release. The intent this time is that we see less major bugs on release, so it depends on what is found in testing as to how long it takes to get a good enough version of the game.
