The main feature of this update is the way Time Rush mode has changed. All modes in this game having scaling difficulty based on the player’s level.
Time Rush used to have the same method of scaling as Survival, having a progressively higher chance to add extra bricks every time a brick gets added (e.g. On level 2, there is a 20% chance for an extra brick to appear when a brick is added). The difference with Time Rush was that bricks got added in time with the music rather than on placing a gem.
In this update, the scaling was changed to simply make the music speed up when you advance a level. Since the bricks are in time with the music, they will also start appearing quicker, adding to the intensity of the gamemode. Time Rush is meant to feel intense and claustrophobic, so I think this change fits with the theme a lot more.
Minor bug fixes in this update include:
Update 2.1 will have Ascension gamemode.
