LLLOOOT! 1.4 Released

LLLOOOT!
A browser game made in HTML5

We are releasing a small update to procedural, turn-based stealth game par excellence LLLOOOT! Here are the release notes:

  • Level generation tweaks:
    • About 20% of the time there will be a second, smaller fortress in the level lineup
    • Building dimensions use more of a normal distribution, so they will be more likely to be in the middle of their allowed ranges
    • Manor courtyard placement altered a bit for slightly more randomness
    • More variety in choosing between the two manor tilesets
    • Fix a spot where the level generator was (rarely) using the global random-number generator instead of the seeded random-number generator
  • Fix a bug where touch menu buttons could become stuck.
  • Inhibit the "Tick tock!" and "Late!" notifications on the first level, since it's a tutorial level and we want to limit how much we throw at the player.
  • Show both the loot ticker and map-seen percentage when there is room on the status bar.
  • On newer iPhones, move the status bar up so the Home Bar doesn't cover it, and color the unsafe zone (where the camera bump lives) black instead of white so it doesn't clash with the game.
  • Remove a handful of dialogue lines that identify the thief as male. The thief is now more of a mystery than ever!

We're thrilled that people are playing and enjoying this game, and we have larger updates planned. More to come!
