The lightning has struck!
It's with extreme pleasure (and a bit of awe) that I announce that, after 3 years of work, Schwarzerblitz exits its open access state and becomes a full-fledged, complete game!
In 3 years of development, this game reached an absurd amount of content:
- 24 playable characters, with a grand total of more than 100 different skins
- 36 stages, some of which with ring out, weather effects and animated elements in the background
- 5hs of story mode, with a huge, overarching plot joining together ALL the arcade endings
- arcade mode, time attack, survival, first strike... you name it!
- local multiplayer, player vs AI, AI vs AI matches
- cheat codes and demo mode, like in the '90s fighting games
- training mode with several modern features, like frame advantage and input record
- gallery, arcade ending theater, character profiles
- a full set of settings, allowing for input remapping, graphics settings and all those little things evey player expects from a fighting game
- all. this. FOR FREE. This game started as a passion project and ended up becoming my main hobby for the last three years - so, no reason to make it paid!
So, thank you all for the support, the follow, your downloads, suggestions, bug reports, friendly comments - thanks for everything. Without you all, this game would have never arrived at this point.
