There used to be a school in Stretch.
There were classrooms with numbers.
There were “first-year” and “second-year” students.
There were grades, ages, classes.
We removed all that.
Not because we wanted to erase settings, but because we wanted to free the characters from them. Without “grades,” there are only relationships. Without “classes,” there are only how they sit next to each other.
What’s left is not your typical school drama. It’s a world that feels like a school, but acts like a memory.
It’s unreliable, dreamy, and painfully vivid.
When you remove the walls, voices resonate longer.
