Lately, I’ve been working really hard to continue developing this game and to make it at least a little good enough to get one player... eheh ‘^^
So in this devlog, I’d love to share with you all the progress I’ve made from graphics and UI to the map, systems, and more!
Note: Some things are still not finished, so please be patient!
Enlarged area for the Wendigo
Lockers work better now
Fixed mouse not being captured + improved free mouse mode camera
Stereo sound issues fixed
Improved pathfinding
Fixed collision bugs (like getting stuck on walls or seeing through them)
Closed map holes
Menu buttons now have a larger clickable area
Fixed flickering/glitched lights
Wendigo no longer finds you from another floor
Long loading screens now include tips
Improved locker textures (especially lighting)
Lots of other small fixes!
Pixel effect is now more subtle
Vignette is now properly visible
Lighting improved, overall game is a bit darker (spookier!)
Added volumetric fog
Completely redesigned main menu
“What’s New” section redone
Instruction hints now appear near interactable objects
Other minor lighting fixes
Added new tasks, like the generator one!
Expanded the map
A task tablet will be added soon!
More props around the environment
(Yes, more tasks are on the way too!)
This is a relatively small update, but I’m slowly building things up piece by piece. So stay tuned for more! :3
