Phase 1.5.1
Another day, another update.
But wait, why did we suddenly regress to Phase 1.5.1? Didn't I just release Phase 2.5? Yes, I did, and I realized just how stupid my notation for Phases is. Therefore, all has been reverted to Phase 1 (Previous Devlogs, at least their titles, will also be set to Phase 1).
That silliness out of the way, here's the changelog for Phase 1.5.1:
- Transferred to Godot 4.4.1
- AIs will send reinforcements to one of their own points, in certain circumstances
- The "Spawn Squads in Combat" Rule is back on by default
- Unpredictable AIs will now pick points COMPLETELY RANDOMLY to sample from, NOT within a radius - they are also more unpredictable
- Fix Issue where, when zoomed in really close, certain Squads are "gigantic" for a split second
- Make Passive AIs even more Passive
- Fix issue where, sometimes, there's a small number of Ability Preparedness, even though you don't have enough points to have it
- Point Name, Type Tooltips are visible in Spectator Mode as well
- Add "Reset" Button in Play Map, which clears all Lobby Elements
- By pressing + and - on keyboard, you can now zoom in/out with more precision (mostly for spectating etc.)
- If an AI has very few squads (what "very few" means depends on their personality), they will be a LOT MORE CONSERVATIVE with their squads
I hope you enjoy - the number one priority now shall be Multiplayer, and that will put us back into Phase 2!
