This is the beta update for HW, putting a "minimum viable" version for a short campaign's worth of play in the hands of a GM. My updates have been slow and weak lately due to real life intrusions but now that I've hit my #dreamjam submission milestone things are going to smooth out and slow down and I'll take more time to talk about the process behind the game and how I'm moving to realize it's goals.
Oh also: this game won't be Pay What You Want forever! Once dreamjam wraps up I'm going to put a firm price tag on the GM-facing booklet that is slowly congealing into a full-fledged rules guide. Player handouts, playbooks, and graphical aids like the faction map are going to remain free forever though, yay!
