๐ฏ A critical fix to projectile damage handling
This patch addresses a key issue where projectiles could apply damage more than once under specific conditions. The bug was tied to leftover raycast data from previous hits — now fully resolved through streamlined scoreboard cleanup.
๐ Duplicate damage could occur when ray_arrow projectiles retained ShotPower and ray_step values after hitting a target.
๐งน These values are now properly reset on impact, alongside damage_precalc and Player_ID.
๐ฅ Guarantees that each arrow deals damage once, no more, no less.
Prevents stacked damage from recursive ray hits.
Restores accurate hit behavior for ShotPower 6 and long-range impact loops.
Maintains scoreboard hygiene, especially in multiplayer or heavy combat scenarios.
โ No gameplay systems were changed — only internal logic.
โ Fully compatible with all v1.7 saves.
โ No update to crafting, resource pack, or models needed.
While small in scope, this patch was too important to remain a shadow fix. With this resolved, the Compound Bow system delivers the exact precision it was designed for — and it's smoother than ever.
