🔥Update v0.8.0 is here - HUGE update

HELLO FELLOW NEPE FANS!

After a long time, we have finally updated the game, and trust me, the wait was worth it. The game now feels and looks better.

Improved graphics

We have spent a lot of time working on the game's graphical aspect. Just take a look your yourself in this quick comparison between the last version and the current one.

As you can see, the difference is massive. There's even a Sun now!

Controller support!

Yes, you can play with a controller apart from the traditional keyboard. If you open the game with the controller already connected, it'll automatically detect it. Else, you have to go to the Settings button on the menu and click 'Detect controller'. You can then proceed to use it.

World 1 Boss replaced

We decided that we had to change the boss of the first World for a new, custom one. We won't make spoilers on this one.

Dialogue boxes instead of speech bubbles

When bosses talk, they used to use speech bubbles. This has now been changed to custom dialogue boxes for each boss.

Our own music

On the 1st and 2nd world bosses, we changed the music to our own. Furthermore, in the 2nd World, it's progressive and changes during the fight. Check it out. It's great!

• Added controller support (access via the menu, click continue, then settings, or if you have it connected at the beginning).
• The look of all levels was improved, including the Sun.
• W1 boss has been completely changed.
• The plant obstacle is revamped, with the same functionality, but it looks way better now.
• Added dialogue boxes.
• W2 boss tweaked, its intro was also changed. A bug in the 2nd phase is now fixed.
• W3 boss tweaked.
• New (our) music on W1 and W2 bosses.
• Added particles when walking.
• Rocket movement redone. Gas now recovers faster.
• Voice lines that were missing were recorded and added.
• The pause menu is now entered by pressing C instead of X.
• Removed Speedrun Mode (for the moment, it might come back).
• More sound effects.
• Language mistakes corrected.
• Other minor bug fixes and overall game experience and looks have been improved.
