Hello.
I've received a lot of complaints from players that the demo version of the battle system is too difficult. Let me address this: the scene itself is simple, but there is a problem — you are right. The issue is that Ren'Py consumes too much CPU power during this scene, causing delays in animations and your actions.
I was able to fix this problem by sacrificing 30 frames from the animations, which significantly reduced CPU load — almost by half.
In short, expect a new setting in the next update that allows you to toggle performance between 30 and 60 frames per second.
Meanwhile, I’ll continue working on development. There's still a lot I need to do.
