We wanted a wide range of towers, covered by a single implementation in code. Unfortunately, some designs did not make it into the game (yet).
There is more UI than is feasible for a team of two. We took some inspiration from the BTD series. El_Sheppe drew all the assets and I implemented them.
The main goal was to make the whole thing feel like a puzzle. For that reason we turned away from level progression. Each level is a binary fail/succeed puzzle of its own. We only have a few levels, but we are proud of them.
1600 lines of code implement enemies, towers, paths, projectiles, kings and beds. We don’t have a photo of the code, so have this instead :)
