v0.17: Major graphics and UI improvements
This update focuses exclusively on visual improvements, adding a lot of new sprites and overhauling card/monster design, as well as some UI elements.
All terrains now have good-looking tile sets.
Minor UI changes:
- Redesigned card/monster/item visuals
- Centered text, changed some colors and animations
- More than 30 improved card and item sprites by @MovingTheMovingPictures
- Updated tiles for Dungeon, Lava Pit, Cemetery, Chaos Realms terrains
- Improved generation algorithm to get more structured backgrounds
- Tooltips now hide second-level keywords by default
- Card upgrades animate upgraded effects / costs
- Reward options visually grouped
- Status and resources hints now include both history and description
- This fixed 'double tooltip' effect
- Music selection now displays track names
- Added new track by @MovingTheMovingPictures
Balance and miscellaneous changes:
- Renamed Rune of Endurance to Rune of Heartiness
Selected bugfixes:
- Fixed crash on 'Encounters may appear 1 level earlier' ascension
- Fixed item movement in rewards window
- Fixed some typos in card and item descriptions
- Play remaining indirect effects even after player won the stage.
- Fixes e.g. Heroic Sword not getting the final increase when played indirectly
- Fixed status change animation overlap
