Due to the break I wanted to take some time for myself before jumping back into production but I still wanted to make some progress, so i revisited the menu sketch.
The vision for this new menu was slightly more ambitious as I wanted more than just symbols for the buttons, having mini illustrations of a character or something else within in, but because I'm still working on the designs and couldn't decide what to do, I settled for something more simpler but just as effective. Next I wish to delve deeper and work on the mini menus for each of these buttons, while also working on bigger parts of the game like finishing Wu's map.
