Hi friends,

I totally missed my devniversary last devlog! Whoa!

Time really flies by. Happy three years, and hopefully to many more!

More exciting news: my patreon will now occasionally have NSFW content! Yahoo! I'll be uploading something extra this month to make up for last month's tease in the character files.

I also have a NSFW bluesky account now--though I post very sporadically, it's nice to have a place to put things! If you're not into this stuff, don't worry. My OG bluesky will keep being dev things and SFW art only (plus silly sketches).

I'm almost done programming all the sprites, and made a few additions that came up while writing. I also started on another background that wormed its way into the script.

And since I want to play with ~cinematic exposition~ I've begun the art assets I'll need to make the opening scene.

that's all for now! for this year's reminiscing I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the games that are marinating in my mind palace below the cut \(＾▽＾)/

Once Resonance in Orbit's demo is out I might allow myself to work on one of the following;

• a dark sci-fi erotica set in the same universe as RiO. this will be my first explicit game with morally irredeemable characters and a warning tag list as long as my arm. i may have already written for this one a little...!
• a butch wlw vn in a cyberpunkesque setting. I have some really great ideas for this one, just not sure yet how to stitch it all together!
• a very wholesome and cosy story set in our modern world. there will be cats, books, and a very aesthetic planning calendar. i started the concept for this one ages ago, but got stuck in how to execute it... so it's been sitting on the idea shelf.
• a short(?) dark-ish cyber angel vn with at least one yandere love interest. I meant for this to be a short game jam idea, and then it grew five other heads...
• a short modern fantasy game with a very wholesome erotic focus. I meant to do this for a jam last year but just didn't have the time back then; maybe next year?

annnd then there are a whole bunch of ideas that got scrapped... maybe to be reused one day! like a short wizard modern fantasy dating game, a wlw fairy game, or a medieval romance modeled after the war of the roses.
