Alpha 0.1 patch notes
With the release of the first public alpha version comes a lot of radical changes and improvements.
Keep in mind, this is still an early alpha, we are nowhere near done!
Here are some of the majors changes in this version:
- Various tweaks to camera angles.
- Improved the level loading system.
- Reworked the HUD and Score UI.
- Added a badge unlock prompt.
- Ported the game to Godot 4.4-stable.
- Added a few more badges, and changed how some of them are acquired.
- Better performance thanks to improvements to occlusion culling, NPC logic and particle loading.
- Tons of tweaks to the levels geometry. More details, less holes :)
- Complete audio re-balance.
- Added a fisherman NPC. See if you can find him!
- Ported the dungeon end cinematic from a video to an in-game animation.
- Improved the navigation system. The player should get stuck a lot less.
- Added some options and re-organized the UI.
- Added an in-game feedback system. Tell us what you think!
- Changes to the difficulty system, with a difficulty selection option/wizard.
- Updated the main character design.
- Tweaked the first chapter boss phase transitions.
- Changes to the Dream Garden shop UI.
- Added a windows executable icon.
- Too many bug fixes to count!
