🎮 Devlog #4 – Character Select Polish + Game Feel Tweaks

Polygonic Tempest

Hey again! Made some solid progress yesterday and wanted to jot it down:

🌀 Spent time working on the character selection screen—it’s starting to look way more polished now. Gave each character their own little flavor with updated descriptions to help players get a feel for their vibe and playstyle. That little detail really adds personality and makes the whole thing more inviting.

✨ Also added some subtle tweaks to improve game feel—those tiny things you don’t always notice directly, but they make everything feel smoother and more responsive. It’s starting to feel more like a real game and less like a prototype.

🔮 More stuff is coming soon, but for now, here’s a quick look at Vex:  Vex – A shadowy, unpredictable figure who thrives in chaos. Vex’s abilities reward aggressive moves and fast reactions, perfect for players who like to keep opponents guessing. Mysterious, fast, and just a little unhinged.

I’ve still got a bunch of ideas brewing, but that’s where things stand for now. It’s cool watching it all come together one detail at a time.  Thanks for checking in—more soon!
