The Second Beta:
As with 0.1B, the game is feature / asset / music complete and can be played to completion in its current state. I'm not currently aware of any game-breaking bugs, but the project hasn't undergone very thorough testing, and thus I'm gonna conservatively call it a "Beta" because I'm picky that way.
The main bit: a few fixes and optimizations:

Most of the timing and code tweaks are to prepare the game for the Web version; the game seems to run OK in the web launcher besides timing, so timing was tweaked a little to keep the music in sync if the game speed wasn't optimal, but I have not yet tested the web version at all beyond the first 2 or 3 scenes.
The default SFX volume was lowered a bit after I found that the speech tones can sound much louder on some devices than others.
Adding the Settings menu to the Title screen was to undo inadvertently removing it long ago before I knew what I was doing (not claiming that I do now or anything, of course).
Yet to do / wishlist notes:
I'm still trying to figure out a nice way to allow the Pause/Settings menu to pop up anytime ESC is pressed, and not just after blocking scripts have finished; if you have ideas and are familiar with AGS, I'd love to hear from you!
I'd like to include AGS in the splash screen, but I don't know of any official graphics or brand guidelines I need to stick to; I'd also like to avoid making players wait any longer than they need to.
