Pre-order now for $25 the monastic mystery TTRPG book missing from your library.
Bad news (not for me), I recently ran out of Rosewood Abbey copies.
Good news (for everyone), in relation to Grumpy Bear's launch of the Italian edition, I was able to reduce the printing cost, and I decided to bring down Rosewood Abbey's price a bit (down to $25 from $30).
Among many many industries and creators, the indie TTRPG is reeling from the recently announced US tariffs.
I'm not a tariffs expert but it thankfully appears that, I quote: "the executive order states in Sec 3(b) that goods in Annex 2 are exempt from tariffs, and Annex 2 includes, "Printed books, brochures, leaflets and similar printed matter, other than in single sheets...".
This means that the US tariffs do not apply to Rosewood Abbey for as long as it is sold without a box, dice, or any other knick knacks.
However, as a reminder, I ship Rosewood Abbey from the UK. Copies ordered via The Rolistes Big Cartel store might require additional VAT to be paid by the customer upon request from local customs/tax authorities.
As mentioned above, Grumpy Bear Publishing released Rosewood Abbey's very first localization.
It's very fitting that this is happening in no other language than Italian, as The Name of the Rose was my biggest inspiration. I'll see what I can do towards having a Welsh edition happen for Brother Cadfael's fans.
This Italian edition was released just in time for the PLAY convention in Bologna.
Huge thanks to Ex Stasis Games for sharing this photo of the Grumpy Bear booth.
Meanwhile, I'm slowly progressing with drafting the new mysteries that will be compiled in Codex Delictorum.
The ambition is to create a supplement in the vein of Brindlewood Bay's own Nephews in Peril.
The early draft of Codex Delictorum (not playtested, not proofread, not sensibility-read yet) is already available to the public for $1. Purchasing the supplement now will grant you access to subsequent updates including finalized and illustrated editions at no extra cost.
Rosewood Abbey is include in two live charity bundles.
Sure you already own it, but these bbundles are for good causes and features even more exciting TTRPGs.
I'd be grateful if you could consider purchasing them and spreading the word about them.
Thanks for reading through all the above and for purchasing my game.
Please let me know if you played a session. Maybe, tag my Bluesky account or just use #RosewoodAbbey on any social media.
Don't forget to give it 5 stars here, if you thoroughly enjoyed it.
Sincerely.
