Dev Update #293

Scene 31.

Pc Chan has been rendering nonstop since my previous Dev Update, and it's still not finished. All the frames for the third animation and all the stills up to shot #157 have been rendered. Pc Chan is working on shot #158 as I write this report. There are about 30 images left, so about 45 hours of rendering. Anyway, I'm not worried. I have plenty of time to finish rendering, as I'm currently writing scene 32. The renders take a lot of time to complete, but I believe that the results are worth it. I honestly think that the images look good.

I finished coding the scene. It is now logic ready and it's already back from proofreading. I'll wait for the rendering and the post-processing to be complete before pushing the script to phase 2.

Scene 32.

I'm currently writing it. It's 3600 words long for now. I hope to keep the whole scene under 6000 words but Jack, Eve, and Cassie still have a lot of things to say and do. So far, I'm happy with the tone and the pace of the scene. I'm a bit concerned with its length but the scene calls for it.

It still needs some refinement but I think I can finish the writing next week.

The quick sum up :

• Day 6 Part 6 will contain 3 new scenes: scenes 30, 31, and 32.
• Day 6 Part 6 will contain 1 reworked scene: Day 2, scene 3.
• Day 6 scene 30 is fully written, posed, rendered, and proofread. Post-processing and coding stage #2 is almost done.
• Day 6 scene 31 is fully written and posed. Rendering is ongoing.
• 15 181 words of new content so far.
• 335 shots are planned, 335 are posed, 306 are rendered.
• 5 animations have been posed. 330 / 330 frames rendered, 120 post-processed.
• I'm currently writing Scene 32.
