[Supporters] Build 151 - "Expanded cloning system pt.6"
FOXXXA browser game made in HTML5
Howdy, Cadets!
Time for another Friday build. Lots of QoL features in this one!
What's new?
- Added approximately 2,000 words of new content.
- Taun
- Added new variants and changes for existing scenes that appear if you have the "Hyena pattern" mutation from bad ending to Gnolls. These include:
- "Gnoll scout at your ship" scene plays out a little differently
- "Taur bowman" fucks you instead of letting you go
- 'Gnoll assassin' punishes you during their sex scene
- Peaceful Gnoll acknowledges you look like a Gnoll
- Taur Patriarch is more aggressive when first meeting you
- 'Taur slut' bad end is unavoidable if you look like a Gnoll and get in the stocks
- 'Gnoll ritual' bad end plays out slightly differently
- Added a revisit scene to the "Gnoll's wife" ending with the peaceful Gnoll.
- Quality Of Life
- Graphics menu
- Split 'Graphics' menu into a smaller set of menus, for ease of use.
- Added "Underline links" and "Bold links" options.
- Font options are now shown in their own font, as a preview. There's also some example text below them, so you can see how it looks in-game. The current font option is also marked.
- The current font size is now marked.
- The current text colour option is now marked.
- The current link colour option is now marked.
- The current background brightness is now marked.
- Preferences menu
- Split 'Preferences' menu into a smaller set of menus, for ease of use.
- Added 'Mutation Percentage' setting to the 'Preferences' menu. It allows you to decide on a scale of 0-100% how likely a mutation is to occur every respawn (Assuming the ending has any left to give).
- Added 'Unstable Genome Mode' setting to the 'Preferences' menu. It allows you to deactivate the mutation-from-source mechanic, allowing you to get any mutation whenever you respawn.
- Technical
- Re-wrote how the game handles mutations, so mutations you already have won't compete against ones you don't. Expect a flat 50% increase in how common mutations are, with all settings at their default values.
- Bug-fixes
- When using the 'Content Flagging' option in the 'Preferences' menu, Content Flags wouldn't appear until you navigated to a new page. If you're on the Bridge, you should now see them next to each planet immediately.
Next week: Finishing up the Taun scene variants, moving onto other planets' variants too!
