Let's kick things off with what's been implemented!

1. Quest Tracker//Hints:

The moment you’ve been waiting for is finally here! The much-requested feature has arrived! This bad boy is here to help you kickstart quests, track your progress, and nudge you in the right direction with step-by-step hints. No more wandering around clueless. Adventure smarter, not harder!

2. Translations:

The addition of the super highly requested translations feature as been added!

To change the game's language head to the preferences tab in game and select the desired one.

For now you'll find:

- English

- French

- Spanish

- Russian

These translations were cranked out by a bot, so some of them might be a bit... painful in your native language. But hey, they’re here to make the game more accessible, and they’ll get polished up over time!

The real win here? I finally cracked the code (literally) on how to implement translations properly. So, progress!

3. Fixed Issues:

- Squashed a nasty softlock bug that was yeeting players straight into the new week system after working at Tak's for the first time (right after Albedo's scene). It was basically cutting the game in half.. Now, you get the full experience.

- Fixed a weird issue where videos on Android were frozen on the first frame.. because who wants to watch a slideshow when they’re expecting an animation/video?

- Gave the TextBox some much-needed TLC. It should behave properly now!

- Patched up those annoying main menu crashes on both Android and PC. No more unexpected game exits, you're free to vibe with Olivia in the menu as long as you want!

4. Tweaked:

- Quest System Glow-Up: I revamped both the quest and tracker systems and merged them into one seamless experience. Now, questing is smoother than ever!

- New OSTs/Soundtracks: Added some fresh beats tailored on the spot to keep you grooving while you play!

    - Updated Game Cover: I swapped out the old cover for a shiny new one to make sure it stands out!

    - New Game Page Background: Gotta make the page look as good as the game, right?

- Updated the "About" Section: I gave the in-game  "About" section a makeover to better reflect the motives as to why this project exists and still will for a while!

5. Added:

Get ready for a little sneak peek of what’s coming next!

On Saturday, Takahashi officially starts showing up at the house, kicking off a new scene featuring Takahashi, Olivia, and Emi. It’s just a tiny taste of the next update, plus a nice little reward for completing both the Tak Needs a Roof and Beach Trip with Olivia quests!

After this preview, you’ll get two options:

    - Keep exploring: because maybe you want to poke around a bit more and soak in the world.

    - Call it a day: exit the game like a responsible being (or not, no judgment).

6. PLEASE READ (pretty please):

When you fire up the game, I highly recommend hitting that shiny "Start" button on the main menu, tossing in your name, and then pressing "Take me to what’s new!" 

OR just dive in from the very beginning if you’re curious about what parts of the game got chopped in the last update.

Pro tip: I don’t suggest loading up an old save it might get weird. Let’s keep things smooth and glitch-free, yeah? 

7. What's coming in the next update [v0.1.6f]:

Alright, the toughest parts are finally done (translations, navigation, quest and tracker systems), so now it's time to focus on rolling out updates that are all about scenes, quests, story, and content in general!

Here’s what you can expect for [v0.1.6f]:

Accessibility:

    - Prioritized Translations:  A poll on Patreon will soon be set up so you can help decide which languages should be prioritized.

    - Refined Translations: The translations are getting a polish for better accuracy and flow.

Gallery:

The gallery is being added to the Options section of the game (quick menu). It’ll be ready for the next update. It mostly needs some extra coding to unlock scenes based on specific flags in the game (ex: $ mysterious_interaction_beach == True).

Quests:

    - Affection: A little love goes a long way so expect at least +1 affection for every main character.

    - Story: One new full scene will be added.

Cheat Codes:

Cheat codes will be added over time as development continues. For now, the “Unlock all scenes” cheat will be available in the form of a password you can use in the Patrons_Hideout room of the house. (This is a Patron-only feature.)

As new cheat codes are added, they’ll be included in the download posts for Patrons, and the list will grow with each update.
