We’re excited to introduce a new character to our game: Yuki, the receptionist NPC!
Yuki is designed to be a shop or store attendant, which means she only requires idle and walk animations. This allows us to optimize resources while still adding personality to the game world. Unlike playable characters, she won’t need complex movement or combat animations.
To make Yuki feel more natural and lifelike, we’ve included a blink animation. Using Spine, we can achieve smooth and organic character movements, enhancing immersion. Even small details like blinking help make NPCs feel less static and more engaging.
We’re continuously working on refining our animations and NPC interactions to improve the overall experience. Stay tuned for more updates!
