Hey hey, new day, new update. Today, I started off by checking out the game on my Steam Deck, and lo and behold, it "Just Works (tm)". I'll likely need to go back and add some support for controllers at some point, but it works great with just a touchscreen, so that was pretty neato. After that, I did a bit more SFX maintenance, and then got to work on adding a tutorial! It's been a long time coming, but I'm feeling like the core systems are pretty locked in by this point, so I should really get around to having a tutorial in game so that new players who aren't familiar with the genre can actually play the dang thing without too much confusion (hopefully). It's still a work in progress, so it's not available in the public builds, but I got the tutorial done up to the point where it explains the beginning calendar scene, and the top status bar. Next on the list is to run the player through an example market day with a lot of hand-holding, then the rewards scene, then go over the customer pool and decorations. It might take me the better part of the week to be really happy with all of it, but I think it'll be worth it! I think it'll really help once we make this thing more publicized. Anyway, that's enough rambling. Here's today's changelog:
