Hours spent: 30min implementing changes to the GDD
On last weeks lab, I was given the following feedback for my project A:
I think most of these points can be grouped into two major categories - mistakes in the design, unclear communication. The unmarked moving platform is an example of a mistake in the design, while the confusion about killable and invincible enemies is unclear communication (no enemies are invincible, but some may be unreachable due to their positioning in the level). I hope to have addressed all of these in the updated document, be it through updates in the design itself, or through clearer wording.
Aside from these, there are also the points which I have after a long consideration decided not to follow up on. These are eitgher miscommunications caused by an overlooked description that was already in the document (e.g. the point about the boss' movement and hitpoints), or points which don't align with my vision of the experience the game is supposed to provide (e.g. the FOV of the ranged enemies being too large). However, I still tried to address them and make my intent clear in the document, if possible.
