Hey again!
Time for Devlog #4 of Dungeon Cards! 🚀
🔥 Version 0.8.5 is Here! 🔥
This update brings a massive visual overhaul inspired by classic games from the PS1 and N64 era, along with some enemy balancing and an improved password system! Let’s dive into what’s new:
🎨 Full 2000s Aesthetic Overhaul!
The game now fully embraces its early 3D era look, with chunky UI elements, soft gradients, and bold outlines straight out of the late 90s/early 2000s. If you’ve ever played games on PS1, N64, or early Flash sites, you’ll feel right at home!
🕹️ New Password System!
No more typing out entire words—just enter:
✨ 70s – Vectorized scanners
✨ 80s – 8 bits!
✨ 90s – 32 bits!
✨ 00s – Early 3D aesthetics
Quick and easy, just like old-school cheat codes!
⚔️ Enemy & Card Balancing!
Combat should now feel smoother and more strategic! Adjustments have been made to enemy HP, attack damage, and card effects to ensure a better difficulty curve. (Yeah, it's still hard-)
🔮 What’s Next?
🚧 Final Graphics! – The last missing pieces:
✔ 70s enemies & cards (coming soon)
✔ 90s enemies (in progress)
✔ 80s backgrounds (almost there!)
Once these are done, the game will fully represent each era visually—no more placeholders!
