Hey everyone! 👋
Time for Devlog #3 of Dungeon Cards (yeah, still debating the name… but let’s not get stuck on that).
🔥 Version 0.8 is here! 🔥
This update takes things up a notch with music, sound effects, and a fresh coat of paint! The game is finally starting to sound and feel like a proper retro experience. Let’s break it down:
🎵 Music & Sound Effects Added!
Silence? Not anymore. Now the game has a proper soundtrack and dynamic sound effects for every card action. Swords slash, arrows fly, victories feel earned. Audio feedback makes everything more satisfying—and trust me, you’ll notice the difference!

🎨 New Backgrounds (Temporary Placeholders!)
The dungeon just got an upgrade! I’ve swapped out the old backdrops for something fresher. These are temporary placeholders (since I have a whole visual style plan in the works), but you can get a taste of what's coming. If you're curious, try out the password system to see some sneak peeks! (seventy, ninety)
🔮 What’s Next?
Finalizing the Background Art – The placeholders will soon be replaced with polished, era-accurate visuals. The previous backgrounds will be used for 90s style!
More Audio Refinements – Some effects will be tweaked to better fit the time periods.
Gameplay Balancing & Polish – Always room for improvements I guess-
🎮 Try It Now!
Version 0.8 is live on Itch.io! Play it, test out the password system for hidden themes, and let me know:
💬 Do the new sounds improve the experience?
💬 What themes would you love to see in the final visuals?

As always, your feedback keeps this project alive—so don’t hold back! 🚀
