Devlog #8 - Week of March 10th
CS:
- Camera take photo cooldown
- Camera snap animation
- Re-implement player movement to force driven, no longer slides down off slope
- Fix double jump
- Add path to terrain, remove trees and grass on the path
- Replace mesh intensive trees with low poly trees for play testing purpose
- Player now able to float on the sea
- Light house collision, now can explore lighthouse
- Player higher
Art:
- Progress: 2 new cat textures; 6 new animations; level design adjustments; more decor assets complete; started adjusting the UI elements
- Next steps: complete all cat textures; finish all animations; finalize level design; finalize Ui
Audio:
- Progress: made the following dynamic audio in WWISE - music & ambience responding to time and location, cat leitmotif, camera, footstep, jump, page flip, cat meow; successfully collaborated with CS to integrate WWISE with Unity
- Next steps: create assets for beach ambience, catnip garden and pond stems, and more sfx (environmental sounds, UI (basic selections, stinger for purrfect shot), cat chew, cat purr, player action); continue to edit existing assets in WWISE to be more dynamic; continue to work with CS to integrate
