Status update

Clea
A downloadable Clea for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Hi everyone! Hope you all have an awesome weekend up ahead :).

Thank you for the recent new follows, first of all. I am thrilled by how Clea's launch week played out on Steam. Rather than becoming complacent, this will push me to work not necessarily harder, but for sure smarter. Thank you for joining me on this journey. Clea has already improved based on the players' feedback, so we are very much on this road side by side.

Yo Mouse, where is the game on Itch.io? You said you would release it after Steam's launch week!

Yes, you are right! See, despite the launch going well on Steam, I still learned so much from the players' responses, especially at a con last weekend, where I got to see people try out the game in person. I already have updates planned to remedy a few things I am not happy with. First, this weekend, I will push an update to include an optional, more smoothly integrated tutorial. After that, I plan to add a couple of extra lore books throughout the game. When I release Clea on Itch.io, this is the version I wish to deliver to you. No sense in me releasing the game, then a few days later going oh hey, a new version is out, so yeah, sorry, you will have to restart to get the full experience.

As far as I know, those are my two must have (by my standards) updates. That said, as the days go by, more feedback could come in, which could mean more improvements. I will promise you this. Once there is no more essential updates scheduled, I will push this game onto Itch.io. I truly wish to serve you the best version available, so for now, I thank you for your patience and support.

Be in touch again soon!
