a week turnaround this time, it's been a little while
some adjustments on this build, sort of unassorted;
- resetting via a game-over from "please let it stop" now resets the game state properly
- a Give Up option has been added to the main menu, requires waiting through a confirmation period to begin. it causes an instant gameover. may cause strange behaviour since it can override other game states
- items have been updated, and mostly replaced, to have a new pickup type. Healing items will be shared with girlfriends through a kiss when the characters are close
- HP damage (bandages on hp) now occur when suu dies, up to an amount allowed by the current curse level. it can be reversed by visiting the hotspring. starting fresh on a game over reset starts at the max level for curse level 1
- an option has been added to display settings to disable water reflection, this should potentially help a lot with performance in some areas
- extra lives can stack up to 4 instead of 3
- score required for an extend has been adjusted, the score threshold is much lower at 1 life, and becomes very long at higher stock counts
- the color fade filter mode now can always recover, blade sight and high stress mode slow the recovery speed
- high stress mode (when text gets glitchy) now persists for an amount of time rather than being permanent
- item transfer effect has been adjusted to stagger out the release of item particles
(with this the 3/08 version is being removed, the change to game over resets has been causing too many issues and was a mistake on my part to include last minute)
