Version 1.0.2

Metal Garden
A downloadable game for Windows

VERSION 1.0.2 changes:

- Updated placement of auto-surgery units to be more evenly distributed.

- Updated ammo and medkit placement throughout the game to be more balanced.

- Slightly increased enemy damage to correspond with there being much more health items in the game now.

- Various fixes to player collision and AI navigation geometry.

- Slightly lowered medkit healing amount, so as to better suit there being many more of them in the game world now.

- Some small visual improvements to certain areas (fixed Z fighting in a couple of places, added a few more meshes where it made sense to).

- Various fixes and improvements to scripting of combat encounters.

- Reduced overdraw effect on the smoke particle used in grenade and trap explosions (should be more optimized now).

- Fixed a bug where the platform in the puzzle section of chapter 3 would return to it's original position after a fall when it's movement keys were pressed.

- Added a louder audio cue for the final platform in chapter 3 puzzle section to make it easier to notice (future update will also add signal lights).

- Fixed a bug where 'collected keys' UI element would not fade out during the 'dead spy memory' story section in chapter 4.

- The charging melee units of the final boss now have more health and deal more damage (were too much of a pushover before).

- Destroying the core of the final boss now deals it more damage.



This is a smaller patch that mostly includes fixes for the balancing issues, as well as some general bug fixes.
