Try the new version, 3 years in the making!

Three years ago I offered up my first OSR styled game in beta format. While it was acceptable, I knew that I could provide a better experience for players. Since then, I took my learnings and launched a successful Kickstarter, renaming the game Fängelsehåla, which is the Swedish word for “dungeon.," and better matches the IKEA inspired characters.

The rules underwent such a comprehensive change, that they no longer resemble anything from the original game, with some highlights being:

• Uses only 6-sided dice (and lots of them for those dice goblins out there!)
• Tactile dice stacking feature to track your trauma called the DOOM STACK
• Simplified to only 4 Attributes that also are used in Saving Throws, with synchronized mechanics 
• Player facing rolls to allow the Doomsayer (GM) to concentrate on the game itself
• Reduced monster stats, while actually improving the depth of the monsters through critical attack triggers
• Chase mechanic that melds with a simple ranges

Today you can download a new FREE VERSION that has key layout art stripped out. If you like what you see, I invite you to upgrade to the ART VERSION which has a 1960's children book vibe that pairs nicely with the IKEA characters.
