Cosmic Odyssey v0.5.12.0
Not OS-specific:
- Added More assets to Character Creator.
- Slightly restructured naming scheme of Character Creator Assets to allow for a larger library of assets to be stored efficiently. You may need to update any of your own custom assets accordingly before adding them to your updated game files.
- Added differing numbers of clouds between ‘Medium’ and ‘High’ graphics settings. Used to be 6 at both graphics settings, now 6 at ‘Medium’ and 12 at ‘High’.
- Improved code efficiency so there is zero processing at ‘Low’ and ‘Potato’ settings for the cloud class.
- Overhauled enemies with new enemy characters, chasing logic, visibility logic and a wider range of enemies to increase in difficulty as you advance through the levels. - More in ‘README.pdf’
- Made changes to the textures for difficulty ratings of each enemy in the menu.
- Made minor changes to how the leader board is updated, doesn’t change user experience in any way.
- Added new theme to levels 47-55.
- Added more levels 56-64
- Made laser-sight green instead of red so it is more visible on some levels.
- Made bullets green instead of blue so they are more visible on some levels.
- Re-organised assets file structure for better readability and ease-of-use when modifying the game with custom assets.
- Added instructions for creating custom assets for the game – see ‘Custom Assets.pdf’.
